****TRADED****

More power than I need but not 100% sure it should go.

This is literally still new. Used a total of about 10-12 hours.

Looking (right now) only for trades of higher end cabs. EA, Bergantino, Epifani, Accugroove. Either 112's, 210's, maybe a 4ohm 212. nothing big like a 410 or 115.

Also includes the bag.

You should check out the Accugroove Tri-115... it sounds great and is not too heavy with the Neo speaker.

FWIW, I got rid of my Berg HT/EX stack to downsize and kept the Tri115 and am happy. GREAT cab.

Dan,

What head do you use with the Tri 115? I have a 1x10 GB combo that I love but want/need a little more and have thought about a 1x15 instead of 2x12 or whatever.

I have a GB Shuttle 3.0110 combo I really love, but I think I want/need a little more. I wanted good sound and ultra small, but I MAY have gone a little too far. Are you using a Shuttle 6.0 head with the Tri115?

Can you talk about the difference/similarity between the 12's and the a5?

Thanks.

Wow, never thought I'd see HT/EX and downsize in the same sentence. My smallest cab is the Berg HS410 (also got 6x10 and 4x10+115).

When I'm at home, a Glockenklang HeartCore. When I'm playing out, a Shuttle 6.0 because I don't like schlepping heavy weights and the bass rig is mostly for monitoring - I go through the house for most of the sound. It REALLY sounds great with either amp.

I hear you...and it was not because I did not love them.

Almost all of my playing is at churches where I go through the house system and just use the bass rig for monitoring my sound. Actually, at several of the churches I have to use their rig, so downsizing is affected by the value I get from the gear I have - I have FAR too many hobbies and a 5 year old I like to spoil.

It came down to liking the Accugroove a little more.

I think that the difference, to my ears, is that the Accugroove is a little more accurate and the lows are a bit more authoritative when you drive it. However, I may be crazy, too!
