SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
My water heater decided to bite the dust on July 23rd, and on July 27th my Central Air decided to go out. So the wife and I could use some extra cash to put towards bills.
I'm in southeastern, KY. Roughly 30 minutes off of I-75. About 2 hours from Bowling Green, Knoxville, Louisville, and Lexington and willing to travel up to 2 hours from zip code 42503. I work on the KY/TN state line in Williamsburg, KY. I have a very flexible work schedule so I can meet up at any time.
I'd still love to trade on an
Peavey VB-2 /
Firebass (love the power of that beast) or
Ampeg PF 500 / Svt 7 pro. Extra cash can be decided in PM. I will trade on any of the amps listed, if, you can add roughly $300 to a trade. That way I can put the extra cash towards the plumber and fix my AC.
Straight Cash Sale of SOLD (Plus Gas if travel is involved)
I have used the amp LOTS since I've had it and experienced no issues other than a loose pre tube...
This amp used to belong to redbeard1206, I purchased it from a friend of mine who lives in Somerset...
Here is the original sale thread:
Fender Bassman 300 Pro All-Tube head
I run it through a Genz 610T XB2 and my volume hits 3. With the 410 in the pic (Which is what I use now) I'm running the volume at 4.5 in a VERY loud metal band.
The Bassman is 300 watts, all tube. Six 6550s, three 12AX7s, and one 12AT7. It's 2 channel, and the channels are blendable, 2-band EQ, 10-band graphic EQ, deep and bright boosts and mid cut switch, built in two band compressor. I do not have the footswitch, and the preamp tube covers are gone. This does not affect the amp. The only downside to it is the weight (80 lbs or so), and that's expected out of these all tube heads. [b]This amp is in very good shape. The tubes are getting some age on them, but, they still work and bias as they should.
Here is a link of my amp in action, sound quality isn't the best but it gives you an idea of the power this thing has. You'll want speakers that can handle a little bass. The guitarist is running a Peavey 6505+ with a full stack of Marshall 1960 cabs.

I was using The white Fender Jazz & Genz 610T XB2. I had preamp at 6, master volume at 3, all controls flat, comps set to 10, and comp trim at 3. Blended the Distortion Channel with the clean channel...
There are so many different sounds in this guy that it's almost ridiculous.
