Fender Bassman 50

Sign in to disble this ad
Mid 1970's Fender Bassman 50 bass head, It's by no means in pristine condition, but pretty nice all the same, especially for a 30+ year old head. Looks like pretty much original condition, except it has a 3 prong cord. The on/off light does not work, and the "Deep" switch on channel one is noisy when flipped. I remember them being a bit noisy back in the day, but this one gives a bit of a "thump". The switch does work though. As well, there is a small tear in the grill cloth.

All of the switches and controls are functional, and the amp still has that great "old school" sound. It works quite well with some newer cabs, especially Bergantino and Epifani.

Asking $500 plus shipping for this. I'm willing to consider trades for Acoustic Image Series III or a Markbass SA450 and appropriate cash transfer +/-.

Thanks for looking.
