To fix (&sell) or not to fix (&sell)???
I traded my SVP-1600 for what I discovered to be the holy grail of tone. This by far my favorite amp.
However, times are tough, and I'm not playing anymore.
The tolex is in decently good condition, the grill cloth is slightly mis-colored, and one power tube is burnt out. (An original Magnavox 7027.) Channel 2 is very quiet, and I'm not 100% sure if the ultra-low switch works like it should.
My plan was to refurb this baby with a new head case, grill, and rear panel from fliptops. However, I'm just not playing anymore, lol.
Tubes will be removed and bubble wrapped if I have to ship this puppy. (Lower 48 only.)
If I have to ship, you're gonna eat the fees, I'm assuming $120+.
Amp is sold as is, I don't have money to get a diagnosis for her, but I know for a fact it DOES work.
Price is $300 FIRM (+ shipping if need be.) NO TRADES!!! I need cold hard cash, greenbacks, deniro, samolians, clams. Lol. Paypal is accepted, but M.O. is also feasible, as is Western Union.
