For sale is my prized 1965 Ampeg B-15N combo. I bought it here on TB from VIC. It worked alright, but needed some new tubes, a new Ampeg glass plate (was missing this), wheels (didn't have the dolly), and 3 prong cord.
I sent it off to Jess Oliver (the original designer, creater, maker, aka MR B15). He changed the cord to 3 prong, redid the insulation, put a new glass plate on, wheel dolly was added, new tubes and bias, all electronics re-calibrated/repaired, tolex repaired (as seen in the side pic), it got the full treatment. I'm not sure if he replaced the speaker or not (pic included, i'm sure the ampeg experts will chime in).
So this thing looks amazing, Mint condition for sure (minor pitting) and it sounds like new. Just amazing old school vintage beefy ampeg b15 tone. sounds great recorded.
I'm including the original rectifier tube (still some life left in it) and a new tung-sol preamp tube (had an extra).
Inside the cab is a Jess Oliver signed "Restoration" certificate. Also included is a Signed Jess Oliver Mousepad.
