The taller one on the right is the one I have for sale. Sorry I don't have more detailed pics yet, but I will try to get more up tomorrow. I love this amp, but the other one is getting a lot more use these days, so I'd rather see it go to someone who can use it more than me. And I could use the money

Works perfectly, and condition is excellent. There are a handful of light scuffs on the tolex but no tears, some slight scratching around the jacks, the grillcloth has one tiny pinhole in the lower right hand corner, and the logo has a couple tiny dings. The 1973 CTS speaker (much better than the Eminences the 77 originally came with IMHO), one fliptop latch, the dolly, and the tubes are not original. The dolly is from a B-15N from between 1969 and 1973, and it has a couple tears on the corners but is in otherwise good shape. I have a couple of the original Ampeg-branded Sylvanias it came with, but all but the rectifier tube tested as not working so I replaced them with NOS tubes when I bought it last year. Everything else is original. Also comes with a vinyl Tuki slipcover I bought new for it last year.

New price: $1000 and I'll split shipping in CONUS. I live slightly north of Orlando, so if you are in the Central Florida area and would like to come try it out, PM me.

Hey Jimmy,

I'm a long time lurker/very infrequent poster. I'm also an Ampeg lover, with a vintage SVT' and V4B, several cabs...always wanted a B15N, or at least since frequenting TB. Please educate me- is your B15N for sale the 30 watt version or the more powerful one (60 or so watts)?

Sorry for the delay in response...forgot to check this thread today for some strange reason. It's the 30w version. The 60w is the B-15S, and has smaller transformers and a squattier cab.

If there's one person on the board to purchase a B-15 from... it's this guy! Bump for Jimmy & his great amp.

Man I want one of these. Were there any changes to the B-15N during the 70s?

From 68 till 79, the only changes in the B-15N were the speakers they used (mine has the CTS speaker they first came with in that era...after 74 or 75 they used Eminences, though you could get some sort of Altec as well), and cosmetic changes.

Hey Jimmy

I am kind of new to TB so I just discovered the classifieds. I know it's been a couple of weeks, but is this amp still available? I live just up the road in Howey In the Hills. If you still have it and want to sell, let me know!

Thanks.
