FS: 2007 Ampeg B-15R -- minty

I purchased this amp in June, NOS from a studio in Nashville that had bought out a bunch of them when Ampeg sold to Loud. It was never used because it came with a bad speaker. I found a source for the exact replacement speaker (Eminence-made OEM for Ampeg) and installed it. This is as close to a brand new B-15R as you'll find. Minty all around and still has the hang tags.

I thought I'd keep this forever, but realize I must downsize. I love the 100 watt/60 watt toggle. And it has great tone shaping control and can get quite loud. I am keeping my old, electronically restored '66 B-15 for studio work and I'm gigging the new PF500/115 Portaflex. As wonderful as this B-15R is, it just isn't getting enough attention.

I'm asking $1200, local deal. I'm willing to travel some (from Athens, GA) to make a deal. You won't find a better one. Shipping is not out of the question but will need to be arranged and purchased by the buyer.

Note this amp is heavy, over 100lbs. The side handles make it managable. Below are some quick shots with my cell phone. I can provide better pictures on request.

PS: Cash sale preferred, but you know what? I've always wanted an SVT tube head, ever since I was a kid (I was 16 when they came out). I'd consider the right SVT, prefer mid-late 70's, with outstanding bill of health.

Hey $1400 is too much to ask I think. Price is hereby dropped to $1200, making this amp a bargain -- <1/3 the price of a new Heritage and 3x the power. Built like like a brick $#!+ house!
