Thumbs up FS: AccuGroove Tri112L and Tri115L - the best AccuGroove combo (IMO)

Big, balanced, clean sound. Loads of headroom. And still easy to lift with one hand - I love these cabs and would love to keep them around but I've had a run of unexpected expenses the last two months and something has to go. I have been told that production of these cabs is either stopped or very backlogged and they can be difficult to find.

Both cabs are in excellent used condition. Both work flawlessly and are cosmetically near-perfect. The Tri115L includes the AccuGroove cover and nice, big removable casters that make traversing uneven surfaces much easier than the smaller casters often equipped on other cabinets.

The Tri112L has the treble and mid roll-off knobs. The Tri115L has no adjustments. Both have dual Speakon and 1/4" jacks. I have never missed having the roll-off knobs on the 115L but the mid roll-off is useful on the 112L, as it has a more mid-forward voicing that complements the 115L very nicely but can be a bit too middy for my taste when used by itself.

These cabs can take a lot of power but don't require it for a big, clean sound - my 600w UL-502 powers them nicely and I've never needed to push it past 1:00 even in some very loud situations. They have never been pushed hard - it's never been necessary. Now that I'm thinking about it, these cabs don't ever seem to get that "pushed" sound. When things get loud, the lows stay solid with authority and there's no apparent loss of definition, even on the rare occasion that I used a synth effect. They are very sonically impressive.

I have tried the Whappo Jr. and loved the sound but found the big low-end extension unmanageable in some rooms. This combo solves that problem by retaining the general character of the sound but with a tighter, much more controllable and still very beefy low end.

I'll let the Tri112L go for $650 and the Tri115L for $750, shipping not included. I would gladly drive to meet halfway for a local sale.

I love trading and will be tempted by offers but will most likely have to decline unless there's at least $1000 cash involved.

Thanks for looking and please feel free to pester me with questions.

I've had some tempting trade offers but I need to hold out for an outright sale or a trade with more cash coming my way.

Thanks for the interest.

I stopped bumping this thread because I had decided the stack sounded too good to let it go. But in the last 3 months I have gigged the Tri115 a total of one time. I'm playing more upright recently and most of the venues I'm playing are more than adequately served by the 112, so I'm having a hard time justifying the 115 serving as a pricey seat in the music room.

So, the Tri115 is back up for sale. There has to be somebody who wants to invest their tax return in gobs of tonal goodness!

The Tri115L is one of THE best standalone 'smaller gig cab that can get REAL loud when you need it to' options out there, and it looks like you may never see another new one again sadly. I really like bringing mine out with an Aguilar DB750. Wow. And of course the Tri112L+Tri115L combo is like an ElWhappo but with more highs due to the extra horns.

ElMon, I totally agree with your post and it gave me yet another round of second thoughts about selling this - they are getting harder to find. All this swaying back and forth is making me tired!
