Howdy. I'm downsizing and have to raise some funds for another project, so, can't believe it myself, but up for sale is my Aguilar DB359 all-tube bass amplifier. 200 watts of tubey goodness (3 preamp tubes and 4 power tubes). Don't let the wattage fool you - this baby gets LOUD. This amp is top-flight, built like a tank and has all the features you'd expect in an amp of this quality. These have been discontinued for a few years and don't come up for sale too often. Here's the link to the Aguilar website for full specs (this is the owner's manual).
http://www.aguilaramp.com/support_manuals.htm It's 2 rackspaces and 50 lbs.
I'm the second owner (bought it from a fellow TBer) and have had it about 4 years or so. I frankly don't play that much, so it's seen very limited use. I take very good care of my equipment and this looks great (only things I can see are some rack screw marks and a few minor marks on the top and sides - didn't check the bottom). I can't find any marks on the front and knobs.
It works flawlessly. I've never pushed it hard (maybe 1:00 or so on the master once or twice) and it's only left my house a few times. Serial No. is 910.
I recently installed a matched quad of new Winged C 6550s power tubes, had the amp thoroughly checked out by a local tech, biased, etc., and it sounds fantastic (cost me over $200 for all of this). It also has a new 1960's Tung-Sol 12AU7 driver tube that I got from Andy at Vintage Tube Services (that was $36), as well as a brand new Aguilar 12AX7 in 1st position and a used, but fine, Sovtek 12AX7 in second position. Less than 10 hours on the new power and driver tubes and no time on the Ag tube.
I will hopefully be able to post pics in the next day or so. In the meantime, here's a pic (plus specs and glowing reviews) at
http://www.talkbass.com/reviews/show...uct/506/cat/25. Mine looks like this one except as noted above.
Asking $1375 shipped Fedex ground insured to CONUS only. Paypal or cash equivalent; shipping after receipt of funds. Sorry, but not interested in any trades.
Thanks for looking, DM
