I am selling my second Aguilar DB728 400 watt tube power amp. This unit is in excellent condition and works perfectly. This DB728 has eight new, matched Winged-C 6550 power tubes. Amp is biased and ready to go. Pair this with a great preamp and it is an SVT killer! These suckers went for over $3000 new!

Specifications and features: All noise measurements are unweighted. Input Sensitivity: Output Power: Noise: Fuses: Power tubes: Driver tubes: Transformers: Outputs: Inputs: 0 dBm for maximum output. 400 watts RMS. This is into 2, 4, or 8 ohms. -80 dB 1 external 12 amp for 100 – 120 VAC operation. (6 amp for 220 – 230 VAC operation) 1 internal redundant per above 8 internal .250 Fast-Blo. One per tube. 1 internal 15 amp Slo-Blo. 1 internal 2 amp Fast-Blo. Eight premium Svetlana 6550C power tubes. Two 12AX7 and one 12AU7. Custom designed toroidal output transformer for ultra-wide bandwidth. Power transformer is also toroidal. 2 Speakon connectors and 2 1⁄4” outputs. One 1⁄4” unbalanced input and one input thru for patching a preamp signal thru to an additional power amp Output Impedance Selector: A three-position switch provides switching for two, four, or eight ohms. Cooling: Weight: Chassis: Two ultra-low noise fans regulate the operating temperature of the amp. 57 lbs. Aircraft quality aluminum construction provides sturdiness without excessive weight. For convenience, access to the tubes is provided through the top of the unit and is isolated from any dangerous voltages.

They're not kidding about the aircraft quality part. Congrats, Aggie makes the best tube amps, always wanted that model.

I did not want to use USPS, and i choose FEDEX, which cost approximately 400 or 450 dollars, i don't remember. The rpice to pay to have a perfect tracking solution ; posted the 18, received the 23.

you did see how much the shipping was, right? of course it was only 5 days...once you give it to the shipping company, it's out of your hands. great seller, but it's not just the seller that you have to worry about when you go int'l. i guess what i'm trying to say is that there are a few sellers that might not live up to this same transaction quality, but most of them are good to go.

yes, i been lucky with JGR
I recovered this morning the DB 728, which has just been modified in order to function with the France voltage. All works perfectly, a sound of hell!
