FS: Aguilar DB750 $1300 (free ship) Partial trade for TH500!

Well, it has come to this. I am against the financial wall, and the only way out is with this sale. Here is a description that I wrote up last week for a Talkbass PM:

Ahoy there! Yeah, interesting situation...

Well, I really really really really really DON'T want to sell my DB750, but my hands are totally tied. Mounting credit debt and having no rent money is an exceptionally depressing place to be.

I bought mine from a touring/studio cat who took wonderful care of the amp. I've personally put about 40 gigs and 4 studio sessions on it in the last 18 months, and just had it checked out by my local amp man who gave it a perfect bill of health.

This is hands-down, THE greatest amp that I've ever had the chance of playing through. It makes every bass I own sound so much sweeter and punchy than anything I've owned in the past... I'm absolutely destroyed that I have to sell the best thing I own to frigging eat, but that's the breaks.

I have been putting off listing it this week. I have to borrow a camera for new pics, but I do have pics of it I took a while back. Cosmetically and functionally, this amp is in excellent shape!

Also included is my 3-space shock-mount rack. I wanted a 4-space to allow for better breathing, but I've run 4-hour gigs with absolutely no heat issues.

I would like $1300+shipping.

Cheers,

William

I WOULD LOVE A PARTIAL TRADE TOWARDS AN AGUILAR TH500, NOTHING ELSE!

The going used rate seems to hover between (s/h included) $500 / $550 at the moment. I'll give a $525 credit toward the purchase of my DB750.

As some may have seen, I'm also listing an Ashdown MAG300 / MAG 410T for $325 +shipping, if anyone is interested in my practice rig. Thank you for looking!

Yeah... I'm pretty positive that most TB'ers have seen it. Please don't worry, though: I played my friend's '79 4001 through it last night and it's so good, I wouldn't care if I have to sleep with it outside in this Wisconsin winter... really, it's the last major thing I have to sell, and I really don't want to...

Oh, with the way we're all getting Fiscal Cliff'ed, I'm almost positive that it will! ;-) Thanks for the interest!

Whoever buys it will get an ounce of freshly-shed tears in a Ziploc bag. Non-negotiable.
