FS: Aguilar DB751...needs repair

For Sale: Aguilar DB751 that needs repair

I purchased this DB751 second hand (cosmetically it is in outstanding shape and comes with the rack ears and original packaging) and the amp worked for a few weeks and then stopped. Knowing that I purchased it second-hand (no transferable warranty), I took it to my local repair guru (Boutique guitar amp builder) and he said it is something with the op amps. Preamp traces out fine and works as should, but he said that it would be cheaper for me to send it back to Aguilar since their bench time (and ultimately cost) would be less than his. My repair tech spoke several times with Marco at Aguilar and Marco is aware of the situation and I will provide documentation that describes the problems with the DB751. This is being sold as-is.

I am offering this up for sale as is because don't have the time to send this out and wait for it. I am working a full-time job, gigging every weekend, and I am the Youth Director at my church, so I have very little time ever.

This shouldn't be too bad to fix so you could walk away with a great deal on a DB751 and spend way less than people buying them used for $1600-$1800! Don't miss out!

So, how much would it cost to send it to Aguilar to have it repaired?

My tech spoke with Marco at Aguilar and my repair tech said it shouldn't be more than $200-$250 for the repair.

I don't understand why this is still here!! That's a great deal!! For the record, Aguilar is great at getting you a reasonable repair price and getting it to you quickly. You could probably have it shipped directly to Aguilar and have them ship it to you. For about $1300 you have a great amp. If I didn't have one already I would jump on it...
