FS: Aguilar GS410 4 ohm Northern Virginia/DC Metro

This goes with my Trace Elliot thread with I have to sell it but I don't want to. This cab has truly been a jack of all trades and sounds great with everything I've put through it. It just slams when you give it some power.

It's in great shape with just some wear on the corner protectors and a little wear on the top. I never had any issues with it and it sounds fantastic. I'm probably going to pick up another one when I get some more cash together in the future.

It's 4 ohms and handles up to 700 watts rms. It also comes with a padded Aguilar cover, which I believe will run you about $100 bucks new, and casters.

Price: $549 local pick-up in Northern Virginia/DC Metro area. I don't want to ship this cab.

PRICE DROP: $499
SPECS:

Four 10" cast frame woofers, 56 oz. magnet

Power handling: 700 watts

Impedance: 4 or 8 ohms

Phenolic tweeter with integral phase plug

Custom crossover with variable tweeter control

One Neutrik Speakon and two 1/4" inputs

Frequency response: 40 Hz to 16 kHz

Sensitivity: 101 dB 1W 1M

Casters included

Recessed deep-dish handles

Interlocking corners

Dimensions: 28.25"H x 22.50"W x 16.625"D

7-ply, void free Philippine mahogany

Weight: 98 lbs.

Warranty: Three year limited

Optional: Padded Cover

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Michael

All pm's finally replied. Sorry guys, not only do I have strep, but I am all of a sudden allergic to penicillin and I've had a severe allergic reaction to my antibiotics. I look like a poisoned Ukrainian president right now. I'm on a ton of meds and starting to feel better.

Wow. I know the feeling. They found out at birth I was allergic to it as well and from the tyme I could talk, it was beat into my head to say when ever asked if I had allergies, "Yes, penicillin." and when they asked what would happen, I was told to say, "I turn blue and die." Funny, all the strange looks I used to get, to me it just was. Get well soon, my friend.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I'm feeling a lot better but looking more than a bit funky from the allergic reaction.

Would you say this cab is comparable to an Eden410XLT??? I mean, I know Aguilar is good stuff, but as far as performance/tone-wise?

I've never actually played through the Eden before, maybe another TBer can chime in. The closest I've had is the SWR Goliath III and the Aggie blows it out of the water. I wouldn't even put them in the same class. I've tried a ton of 4x10's before and I think the GS410 is the best by far. I'm playing an all tube Lemmy Marshall through a Berg NV610 right now and I really need money for the security deposit on a new place. That's the ONLY reason I'm letting this go.

I did a side by side last week at bass specialties near philly with my Eden 112xlt and the new Aguilar sl112. Let me just say that I have been an eden player for the past 7 years or more and when I did this comparison I think I am going to convert to all Aguilar in the next year. Edens are great and I still love their sound, however the Aguilar stuff that's out now has a killer tone. Punchy, deep, full... Wow. There is something about the presence that the aguilar cabs that, to me, make them stand out above the rest. hope this helps!
