This basically an OBP1 (exept for it's outboard vs. On-board)

It runs on 2 9v batteries. It does not have an AC/DC adaptor and is not a "DI" box. I have used this for every gig (about 40) this past year and have only replaced batteries twice. It is basically an Agi OBP1 pre-amp in a box. These are discontinued, but could be easily serviceable using an OBP1 pre as replacement for the PC board.

I like it because I can turn a passive bass into an "active" bass without mods. It is perfect to run into a DI box and straight into your FOH mixer, or run straight into your amp (without DI box)

WOW! Great outboard pre-amp. I own the original version of this unit with the actual OBP1 preamp inside instead of the PC Board. This is a nice price for such a versitle little box.
