- Ampeg SVT-4Pro 7/10 cosmetically, perfect working condition. This was played solid for just under 2yrs and the about twice a year since, pre-tubes are original. $700/shipped - Ampeg SVT2 '82-'83 8/10 cosmetically (and keep in mind it's 24yrs old), has a full set of matched GT's that have been in for 2yrs, but this is a part-time head for me, so they might have a solid year of use. This is the bad mo that everyone says is the closest to the original in a rack mountable version. 300watts of pure tube deliciousness! $900 DROPPEDD- $850 I may have secured a nice tough box that could handle this thing and so will discuss shipping at buyers expense. - Genz Benz GBE-2 bass head 375watts @ 4ohm, very clean (almost sterile) with a great DI, which was my primary use for it. The rack ears were pretty damaged in shipping to me a while ago, but it does not effect the heads function and I feel that a good vise, rag for protection and a little pressure would easily straighten it back to rack-able. Any pics on the SVT2 that you can't see the brand, I simply covered it with gaf in an attempt to stay as anonymous as possible. It removes easily with no issue.
No racks are included!
The heads are in Grand Rapids, but I go to Detroit and Flint often and could bring one or both with me if arranged.

So, it looks like 1991 was the year they made the change.
Regardless, they are sweet amps, and yours looks great.
... I bet it sounds great, too..
