It is about double the wattage of the b50r, with the larger speaker as well, so I imagine there would be some extra volume. Wish I could be more helpful. |

I've got one and I'd love to add a second and split to each. The tone of this combo is what makes them special. Vintage thump is there in spades!

Plenty loud! Drummer hears/feels it plenty and in a 400+ auditorium everyone hears it plenty. Ampeg makes awesome rigs! If it wasn't for the same reason, new bass being built, I'd bought this 15 mins. ago!!! I love this rig!!!

Speaking as the owner of a B-100R, it's a great-sounding combo!
Mine will keep up with a Fender Twin and drums at moderate volume easily. For a larger club, you'd definitely want to mic it, though.
