FS: Ampeg Micro-VR Stack

Up for sale is my Ampeg Micro-VR Stack, which includes the Micro-VR head and SVT210AV cabinet. Purchased new in Sept 2010, still in mint condition.

This was intended to replace my Walkabout as a practice rig in the home office. Really is a great sounding amp. But with a baby on the way, there's no room for extra gear.

Asking $450 + shipping. Items will be shipped in manufacturers original double box packaging. Preferred form of payment is PayPal.

Note: Shipping is estimated to cost $38 to East Coast, $70 to West Coast.

Looks like shipping to the West Coast is around $70, shipping to the East Coast is around $38. Fedex is the cheaper shipping option.

Preference would be to sell as a set. Will keep your offer in mind though in the event someone is interested in just the head.

Thanks man, I have had one of these cabs on order since January 17th, and i was told today Ampeg wasnt shipping more until the last week in Feb, so i wouldn't even get it until March.

No way, I need one of these things now! So i hope someone wants a head, otherwise i would do like 325 shipped ? (the sell new for 300 here, seems okay?) maybe you could make more then you thought selling separate!

I agree that the cross country shipping seems high, but nothing I can do about that. Here are the dimensions if you're interested in checking FedEx and UPS yourself (I prefer FedEx).

Cabinet: 13 x 15 x 28; 32 lbs
Head: 14 x 12 x 12; 15 lbs

I'm neither looking to profit on shipping nor interested in losing money on it either. I think that's fair. I'm not a store. If you want free shipping, I just checked MF and they have the cabinet used - so you can get yourself a deal and free shipping too. Otherwise both head and cab look backordered until end of Feb.

I'm offering a basically new (4 mos old) unit, that has never left my smoke free home office, never been played loudly, and the warranty cards haven't been submitted. Price and shipping as previously noted.

I recognize that everyone is trying to get the best price possible, as am I. But I'd rather hang onto the gear than sell for less than what I think it's worth. Just recognize there is nothing I can do about the cost of shipping. So if you are genuinely interested, PM me with a specific offer as others are doing and I'll respond.
