I've got a new bass coming in next week (hopefully), and I find myself at a crossroads, and the result is that I'm putting my PB212 cab up for sale. I managed a musical instrument store for 7 years in Minnesota, and I'm picky about my gear. This was a pre-LOUD technologies cab, and I purchased it near the close of the line. A great cab, but my main gig is in-ear without any amplification . It has been gigged less than a dozen times, all in smoke-free rooms.
Everything is original, includes the official Ampeg padded slipcover and the convenient dolly. It's mostly been used for solo basement practicing; it's only competition is my stereo. - 38 lbs total weight, Italian Poplar cabinet
- 2 lightweight Neodymium magnet drivers + horn, 4 Ohm
- Padded slipcover
- Convenient detachable dolly
New MSRP was $899, MAP $629. I'm looking to sell this for $450 shipped in the continental 48.
If you are interested or have questions, hit me up.
Cheers,
Andrew Leaf |

Also, the handle on the top of the cab (there is one on the side, too) are showing some fatigue where the rubber insulation goes into the handle mounts.

I played my warwick through this setup for over a year, and with everything rolled flat, I got that chunky mid-rangy snarl that Warwicks are known for.
Not to mention, light as all get-out!!!
Great great great US made series. Big bump for a killer cab at a cool price. |

The sound is clean, clear, a little more defined than my Eden 210XLT - it complements that cab well. To my ears it's "flatter" sounding than the XLT, no low mid-range bump... possibly a little scooped sounding, but I've never had a problem hearing it on stage.
The size, weight, and overall tone made this a great purchase for me, but since my current playing is almost all direct, it's necessity in my arsenal is in question. However, I'd rather pull this out of the basement than the 210XLT any day.
Dimensions:
27.5 x 17 x 15.5 in
Cheers!
