FS: Ampeg PortaBass PB250 head and PB112 cab

Just scored a '70 B-15N so I can't justify a second nice amp at the house.

Ampeg PortaBass PB250 head PLUS PB112H PortaBass cabinet - $400 shipped CONUS. I will sell separately, too (Head $250, cab $200.)

The PortaBass Head offers the ultimate combination of full power and lightweight, compact construction. Micro Dynamic power amp circuitry eliminates bulky heat sinks, transformers, and filter capacitors, yet provides 250W and articulate dynamic response. Perfect for use with every kind of bass, from a hot-rodded 5-string to a vintage '60s classic.

Features:
  • Provides 250W and articulate dynamic response
  • 4-band EQ with dual Mid Shift, Ultra Hi and Ultra Low
  • Parallel FX Loop with Blend
  • Transformer-balanced Line Out / DI
  • 12.5"W x 3.75"H x 10.5"D
  • 14 lbs.

Includes Ampeg Portabass carry bag. The amp is in excellent cosmetic condition, all the rubber feet are still on, etc.

Pics (wow, I must like yellow! The white balance on my camera is all wrong!)

Ampeg PB112H PortaBass Cabinet with dolly, $200 shipped.

12" Neo speaker with horn. It's a 4 ohm cab, and mates perfectly with the PB250. 200W cabinet with horn level control, 1/4" and Speakon jacks. 17" x 17" x 12", 23 lbs.

This is a killer rig that's small enough to keep in the corner of your den and loud enough to rock a sizable club. Handles a B string just fine, and can sound downright vintage with the horn off. I've played everything from gospel to metal with this rig and it never let me down. I used to load in by putting the amp in its bag and my small pedalboard on top of the cab and wheeling it in with the dolly. Sling my bass in a gig bag on my shoulder and it was a one-trip load-in. My better half says I need to pick one amp to keep at home, and the B-15N wins (sorry!)

I will combine shipping if selling the whole package, and I will ship internationally if size constraints allow. I may consider a package deal, PM me if interested in both pieces. I accept PayPal, but I'm not looking for trades right now.
