This is about 6 months old and essentially as new condition. It sounds great...clean or dirty, as you like, and LOUD! It's had light use (6-8 gigs) and has worked flawlessly. My band is all IEM now, no amps on stage...I have 3 amps and want to minimize what's sitting around unused.

I didn't "need" it either. I used the want for a backup head to try some different amps, this is the one I ended up keeping (and if not for the current IEM situation, it wouldn't be going anywhere). Never had the need for that much power, but boy, does it sound nice.

Ha, yeah, I've wanted a P Bass since I was 13, but I'm really trying to not have things just sitting...sold my 5502 recently for the same reason. My mantra will have to be "Two basses are enough."
