I have a very road worn Ampeg SVT Classic All Tube Amp, you know the specs and sound. It currently doesn't power on, this is a amp techie steal,could be cheap to fix or expensive it had new power tubes put in it this spring, why am I getting rid of it, I'm tired of tubes maintenance and the weight and I don't want to put money in it. I think it is a early nineties model, One of the feet have been glued on, it has major mojo all around, some off the control panel lettering has worn off. It sounded great when it worked. I am also selling a road worn ampeg 810 for $400 (local pickup on the cab only). Is. I don't know what brand of tubes are in it. I think I covered everything. US Made . Sold As

What exactly happens when the power is turned on? What about when it's taken out of standby?

Amp Condition Update: Last night I plugged it in and it actually turned on, so I waited 10-15 min and flipped the standby..dead...tried to turn it back on nothing...so i picked it up to move it and there is something loose inside.the tubes look fine.....
