FS: AMPEG SVT II-P Preamp

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a great fat and warm sounding tube pre in great shape no longer made. I believe this is the pre from the SVT non-pro amp. I had hopes of matching this up with an all tube amp but had some major P.A. expenses crop up so away it goes.

As a side note........I got this pre directly from the touring rack of Foreigner's bass player ( a very cool cat ). He was selling his complete touring rig (flight cases and all) and I picked this up and had my eyes on some more of his gear but that will have to wait for now.

$279.00 shipped to the 48 states only.

Thanks, Phil

I'm up in Redding. I was also asked which bass player it was from Foreigner since they had a few. His name is Bruce Turgon. You can google or wikipedia his name and see the incredible career he's had in music.

I've been offered a few trades. I appreciate the offers but I'd prefer an outright sale. Of course, I never say never. Also, Been asked for some pics.........so here's a few.

I just got one of these and really like it. Tone is somewhere in between an SVP-Pro and SVP-CL ... clean, warm, killer.

Just to clarify and bump, this is the pre section from the highly desirable SVT-II non-"pro" head.

I paid $325 for mine and thought it was a good deal. $279 is great!!
