SOLD SOLD FS:FT AMPEG SVT6PRO

Sign in to disble this ad
[COLOR="Red"SOLD SOLD $600.00 SHIPPED in 2U Rack Case!!!![/color]cont. US

Time to let go of my beloved SVT6PRO. this amp served as my main amp for several years and does has some minor signs of wear to show for it. Right off the bat I can tell you that this amp has never ever failed in any way other that the fact that it is Uber Heavy!! it is 46lbs by itself and of course I had it in a shock mount rack which is about another 35 lbs or so. I 50lbs pedalboard and 115lb cabinet makes for some serious troubles when loading out at 3AM

Anyway this amp sounds great, but I need to mention 2 potential issues up front.

1. One of the 1/4" speaker outs deeds to be repaired or replaced. It will not accept the 1/4 male end leading me to believe that it likely has a bent tab on the jack, but I never cracked open the case to check it out. I always used the Speakon out anyway.

2. The footswitch jack grounded out on me once causing the amp to mute. as thats what the footswitch jack is for. After this happened I took a look at the jack and discovered that it was slightly loose. I tightened the nut and have not had any more trouble with it, but i like to disclose any potential problem spots.

I would not hesitate to gig with this amp today, if you have a good strong back that is. This sucker is seriously heavy. I have since been using smaller lighter amps and am happy with the loading / unloading. I haven't gotten the same tone i did from this SVT though.

I currently have the amp in an OSP Shockmount rack, 4 space. it is very nice and does a tremendous job protecting the SVT, but together they weight close to 100lbs so shipping could be atrocious if shipped together.

I have a 2U rack case on the way (should have it by Monday, 2/6/12) that i can ship the head in instead of the shock mount.

I won't ship the head without a case whether it is the 4U shock mount or the 2U rack, as I do not have any of the original packaging for the head. I don't know about you, but I like for stuff I buy to not be broken when it's delivered

I am asking $650.00 $600.00 for the amp in the 2 space rack shipped to continental US

I am willing to consider offers or trades for portable heads (around 500watts) or even other gear... smaller cabs, Instruments, whatever. If you have something yuou want to trade, give me a shout and we'll see if its something Im interested in.

Also if anyone wants just the Shockmount rack, which is very nice, I am asking $125.00 for it. Again offers and trades considered.

$

If I can figure out how to post pics, I will...
Thanks for looking!!
Dan
