This is a tube preamp and tube compressor, works equally well with bass or microphone, drives a power amp just fine. Review is on my reviews site. $50 shipped! There is nothing else that even comes close to this for the price. The tone is "clean/warm tube", not meant for overdrive/distortion.

It has some scuffs and other minor wear from use, but it works well and sounds great. Let me know if you have any questions!

i have one .. a tube upgrade makes a big difference ... !!

i have some JJ/Tesla 12AX7 803S , some vintage JAN 12 AX7 Sylvanias , 80's Mullard lower gain 12AT7 s ...


the hotter JJ s seem to work best for bass ...
