I bought this in 2008, brand new. It's been sitting in a rack ever since and is in in absolute mint condition. This retails for $585. It comes with its rack mount kit, which goes for $80. That's $665 total.
I am asking for $485 (Avalon+rack mount kit), shipped to Continental US. Shipping elsewhere will have to be negotiated.

I currently have a Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0-12T combo that I like a lot, but may be looking to change it up. I've always liked the Avalon (I've had 2) but I'm not sure what I want to run it through. |

This forum is killin' me right now...this and another thread listing a GrooveTubes DITTO. I don't need more DI's, I don't need more DI's, I don't need more DI's....
Good luck with the sale! |

| | | | I ran this a few times with a power amp, and it sounded great, especially if you have an active bass that gives you a bit more eq options than the preset stuff on the avalon.
I've honestly haven't tried any other DI box, but the Avalon fattens and warms up the tone while maintaining an unmatched clarity.
I just have no use for it, otherwise it'd be the last thing I'd sell. |

| | | | Steve, still available although I am having doubts about selling it. But if you'll take it, it's here. This has no dings; it's pristine. Bought it brand new in '08. put it in this rack and has been in my bedroom since.

Seems to compress it maybe, in a very creamy way ! |
