Hi! The Berg AE410 is a killer cab, and gets a lot of attention here at Talkbass, all positive.
Mine is now available. Asking $850, with shipping and packing extra. I'm in the SF Bay Area, and would really truly prefer a local deal. This weighs 62 pounds, so shipping will be steep, and the original boxes are long gone.
Just hit the "Search this Forum" link on your Talkbass Amps [BG] page, and put in AE410 and you will find miles and miles of discussion. Or visit the Bergantino website to read more.
This is a 4 ohm cab. Comes with the Bergantino Cover. Couple blems but not noticeable at 10 feet.
Trade offers: I am interested in Zon Sonus basses, and Epifani S2-112 cabs. Already have some of each, and wanting more!
Sale offers: cash and paypal ok!

For historical reference, right now the Giants are up 2 games to 0 in the 2010 World Series against the Texas Rangers.

| | Totally into Geddy Lee & Mark King ! | | Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Sonoma County, California ! | | | I am also in the Bay Area. I am looking for (an additional) 410. I have a Mesa PH 410 now, but I want to add an SWR 410 to make an 810 hybrid stack of Mesa/SWR tone, or to it or replace it. I've never heard a Berg in person but I hear only good things about them.
By the way, we have the pitchers for the next five years and this years Giant's team can be described in one word - CLASS ! UNLIKE these ego driven football jerks ! I love this years Giant's team. No egos, just a good running machine with a high school team feel.
So, getting back to the Berg - Since it's 4 ohms is it loud enough and clean enough to play by itself ? I have been playing a 2x410 stack to sound good in the band and I don't see how a single 410 could compete. Show me the light ! I am ignorant on the Berg subject. I have absolutely no experience with them.

The specs published by Bergantino say it's rated at 800 watts at 4 ohms, with 103dB at one watt. Doing the math, the max SPL is 132 dB.
Mesa doesn't publish the "dB at 1 watt" number, but they do say the PH410 is good for 600watts, either four or eight ohms.
But there's an old saying, Figures Lie, and Liars Figure, so I'd pay little attention to the figures on this, and focus on the Comparison side by side. Busy this weekend?
Meanwhile, I would do a little Talkbass Research, and see what our bass brothers have to say about the Berg AE410. And mostly they say it kicks butt!

PM's answered, and are still in progress!
I bought an Epifani 112 here on TB classifieds, so that's no longer Trade Bait.
I also found a Zon Sonus 4, and pulled the trigger. So that's no longer Trade Bait either. If you offer a Zon Sonus 5, I will cringe and curl up into a fetal position unable to function. So don't!

I met Cayford, aka "Frester" and he invited me into his home to try this cab. It sounds great. We both agreed that this cab would be a lateral move from my cab, therefore I made the decision to hold onto my cab. Someone who is looking for a Bergie 410 will be happy with this cab. It is super lightweight, too. It is in mint condition and has a cover. BUMP

The combination of the Mesa Carbine head, the Mesa Powerhouse 410, and your drop-tuned Cirrus is a force to behold! Mothers, protect your babies when this rig is in action!

If I took better pictures, would there be more people interested?
Looks like it's past the time where I can edit the original post and put in things like I already got a Zon Bass coming, so that's no longer Trade Bait.
