For sale/trade here is a BFI 18" cabinet. I don't know a lot about these. From what I can tell on here, there were two versions of this one. One with thinner wood (which wasn't very good), one with thicker. This is the thicker. I just recently purchased this from Bass Club Chicago, but am going in a different direction now. It works well, and sounds surprisingly good. I have only run it as an extension cab off of my Peavey Combo 210.
The cab itself is well worn. It spent many years as part of the rig for the owner of Bass Club Chicago. This obviously doesn't affect the sound. It would really benefit from a new coat of paint, for sure.
I really don't want to ship it, but if you are interested enough to cover shipping, then we can discuss it. Its currently located in Bloomington, IL, however I can help meet somewhere if needed. I am in Chicago every couple of weeks now, and have plans to head to St. Louis soon (hopefully) as well.
Looking to get $150, which is what I paid for it about 3 weeks ago. I won't charge you tax though.
I would trade for something of equal value. Might could use a different 1u pre, very nice gig bag, neck, other parts, etc. Let me know if you have something you want to trade, and we can go from there.
