FS:BFM DR250 and Tuba24 Killer Kombo $250 Pick Up Only

Sign in to disble this ad
This is an excellent deal for someone who can get to New London CT.
You can blow a birthday candle out across the room with the air these little babies move.
Plus the DR250 can be used as a standalone cab.
Internal crossovers wired to separate jacks for mono or crossover bypass jacks for active bi-amp.
I will not ship these cabs. Pick up only. I hate to do it this way but I've run out of time before my pending move to another country.

Speaker cabs only; amp head is not included.

These cabs will do just about anything, as loud or as quiet as you could possibly need.

Somebody's gonna love this deal.

I just finished a home built amp - 1000 watt IcePower module with a tube preamp copied (with a few enhancements) from an Ampeg B15. When I tried it with these speakers there were some open corrugated boxes a couple of feet away. The open flaps were waving in the air blast every time I hit any note below an A !
The cool thing is they don't need anywhere near that kind of power to be loud and sound great. I had been using a Carvin BX500 which was a nice match.

Believe it or not the DR250 was built by Bill Fitzmaurice himself as a prototype and I got it from him several years ago.
There is a brand new Deltalite 2510 in the DR250 and the Tuba has an Eminence HL10.

How do you like the YBA200 through those speakers?

Every amp sounds better with these because of their high sensitivity and extended frequency response. But I thought the YBA had an output transformer that was too small which limited bass response which is why I sold it.

That's an insane deal for ANYONE in the New England area. Even with gas prices what they are - drive down from Maine, up from New York - still a steal!

Thanks for the plug. I want these cabs to go to a bass player that will use and appreciate them.
And tear the roof off the mother with them.
