Up for grabs is a DR250 cab. Designed by Bill Fitzmaurice and built by yours truly. This cab has been awesome both as a PA top and a bass cab. Only reason I'm selling is because I have since built several more BFM cabs for PA, and I usually just DI to FOH for bass. So, since I'm trying to fund some equipment upgrades, I'm having to let my baby go...

- Eminence DeltaLite II 2510 loaded
- 20-element melded HF array (with on/off switch)
- ported chamber to maximize bass response
- Duratex finish (has a few tiny dings, but I'll touch it up or send you some Duratex so you can do it yourself)
- metal corners
- rubber feet
- spring loaded folding handles
- dual speakon connectors
- tophat for speaker stand mounting
- 22"H x 22"W x 22"D
- weighs approx. 50 lbs.

This is an 8ohm cab, but the sensitivity is phenominal so you get incredible SPL with incredibly low amounts of power. Check out the SPL charts on Bill's site for more info.

$275 + shipping (or $200 + shipping for cab only without DeltaLite driver). Acceptable payment methods are USPS money order or PayPal eCheck. Local pickup is available if you want to come get it.

DR250 with bass and Carvin head

Good view of the melded tweeter array

Lousy picture, but it shows the back with the speakons and the on/off switch for the tweeter array

That's a great deal! I just built two Jack 10s and am planning to do a DR250 next, followed by a T-39, to have a rig for outdoor shows with no PA support. If I were smart, I'd buy yours... but I have the building bug, so gonna do it the hard way!
What's your current bass rig?
Are you in Nashville? I lived there for 8 years.

I can't fault you for the building bug--I've got it, too. Just be aware that the DR250 is a much more complex build than the Jacks or T39. Allow yourself at least a month if you're only working nights and weekends on it. Also, I don't know if you've calculated your costs yet, but I'm pretty much selling it for what it cost me to build it, so I imagine yours will be about the same unless you use a cheaper driver and filter components.

I currently have 4xDR200's and 2xT39's (20" wide) for the PA, and I just DI into that for bass.

Nope, not in Nashville. In the northeast corner near the VA state line.

I've had a nibble or two, but it's still available...

Believe me, it pains me to let it go at all, let alone at that price. It's just not being used as much now that I'm DI-ing into FOH all the time, and I've got some other gear I need to fund.
