Up for grabs is a Carvin BRX 112 Neo. I bought this new from Carvin in June of 2006, and have used it as my primary amp until recently switching to a head that better suits me.

Pros:
Power! Before saying goodbye to it, I drove two external 8ohm cabs in a large room and it was LOUD and deep!
The amp capable of being crystal clear, and deep. With few exceptions, I have used it with upright for jazz, blues and bluegrass in small rooms.

Cons:
There is some abrasion on the coating, but for the most part has stayed clean. I will include a DIY cover (Don’t expect to be impressed by this cover, but it's saved some wear.)

It is a tremendous, reliable amp and I have been totally happy with it.
I am only interested in cash at this time. I need to fund restoration of an upright.
Just lowered! $350 & shipping.

Do you know the weight? I'm in the Columbus area just north of Westerville.

I don't have a reliable scale here, but per Carvin, the shipping weight is 47 lbs.
http://www.carvinservice.com/crg/manuals/BRX112NEO.pdf

Frequency Response 20 Hz to 20kHz
Output Power
8Ω THD < 1% 300w
4Ω THD < 1% 500w
2Ω THD < 1% 800w
8Ω High Frequency 3kHz-22kHz 50w
BRX112 frequency response 35 - 22k Hz
22”H x 17”W x 18”D
47lbs.

I have a Wednesday night at Easton the next three weeks. I would be happy to bring it if you would like to try it.
