FS - Carvin BX1200 with footswitch, cover & tolex case

Sign in to disble this ad
An incredibly flexible amp at a good price. Can power different cabs using separate channels or bridge them for a ton of power into one cab. Very clean and crisp tone.

The amp comes with the rugged tolex case and dust cover as well as the footswitch for muting or engaging/disengaging the graphic EQ.

This one is in great shape and I'm asking for $375 shipped.

Some specs:

Output Power
8ohms, THD <1.0%: 2x 275w
4ohms, THD <1.0%: 2x 400w
2ohms, THD <1.0%: 2x 600w
8ohms bridged: 800W
4ohms bridged: 1200W

Tone Controls: TREBLE 10K, BASS 50Hz , 3 semi-parametric MIDs, CONTOUR, and 9-band Graphic EQ

Drive Control: Varies input gain and harmonic content

Dimensions (no cabinet): (2U) 3.5”H x 19”W x 10”D

Just to clarify questions I got via PMs.

Yes, there are two separate channels to run two different cabs. And you can specify a crossover point and control each channel volume independantly though the EQ settings on the amp will apply to both channels.

Bump!

This amp puts out 1200 W at 4 ohms, either into two cabs or bridged into one big one. That's like 30 cents per watt!

It will also put 800 W into an 8 ohm cab which (along with all the EQ options) makes it a good match with fEarful 15/6 cabs.

I can answer that.

Yes!

There are 4 screws on the top that holds the head in. Then the head slides out/in. Easily removed.
