Up for sale is a Carvin BX1500 dual mono-block bass head in great shape. I have been using this amp to biamp my fearFul cabinets, but have recently moved to a Fender TBP-1 preamp/Power amp arrangement to do this. Thus, this unit needs to be moved.
It was purchased in April 2010 and is in perfect working condition. Cosmetically, there are no blemishes. Delivers 2 x 300W into 8 ohms, 2 x 450W into 4 ohms, and 2 x 750W into 2 ohm. Also can be bridged to give a whopping 1500W into 4 ohms. Weight is only 10 lbs. Also has tube (or solid state) preamp, crossover, lots of EQ options. Sounds and performs great.
