FS: Carvin DCM 2000

This part two of my house cleaning.

For sale this time is a Carvin DCM 2000 poweramp. I bought this new, back in either 2002 or 2003.

I'm looking to get $330 shipped in the CONUS. I have easy access to packing materials at a very cheap rate due to work.

For an additional charge, I'm up for including an SKB Roto X Roller Rack 5 space. The back panel of the rack has a crack near the latch. The rest of the rack does have some scuffs and scratches, but it is functionally sound. I have a beat to hell Gator 6 space rack that i can use to store preamps, etc in, so if I sell the poweramp, I don't need this rack anymore.

Specs:
2000 watts @ 4 ohms bridged
1400 watts @ 8 ohms bridged
1000 watts @ 2 ohms per side
700 watts @ 4 ohms per side
425 watts @ 8 ohms per side
Speakons, 1/4's, and banana plugs for speaker outs.
1/4s & XLRs for inputs

Here's a link to the manual...

Reason for selling:
It draws too much power for the venues that I play. Since I can't use it on gigs, I don't need it. I did use this on a run of a rock musical, and it was nice....except I could only turn it up to the barely on level. The amp was just for show on that gig.

In high school, I used this amp to play large gyms, large auditoriums, football stadiums/fields (Indiana's largest highschool fields), and loud rock shows. It is awesome for that. However, since I have only used it on 1-2 shows the past five years, it needs to go.

Additional pictures are available on request.

Would trade this for an SWR WorkingMan's 12+cash, WM15+cash, or SWR WorkingPro 12. Not interested in trading for basses, other amps, or accessories.

I updated the price to $330 SHIPPED in the CONUS from $330 plus splitting the shipping to reflect what additional research has shown these going for. Send me a PM and we can work a deal. I'd like to get this sold by Friday 11-12.

Price Updated 11-25-10

$330 shipped in CONUS, $400 w/rack Shipped. I want to get that much, or else I'm fine with keeping it.

Carvin

Bump for great quality amp. I've have the DCM1500, and now use the DCM2000L. Both gave quiet power to spare. Great USA made stuff. I actually use that same RPM setup now and love that sound.

Thanks for the bump man.

I like the sound of the setup, but I just don't need the size/power of it anymore. Me living in a small apartment will be someone's gain!

The rush to sell this is over.

$330 shipped (firm) within the Con US w/o the rack. Rack is an extra $70.
