Carvin PB500 bass head and Carvin 410 bass cab.
From some time in the 90's.
Both are in excellent condition with no tears or wear on the carpet areas.
Neither have any issues. The head is a biamp that pushes 250 watts per side at 4 ohms and 500 watts bridged into 8 ohms. This baby is LOUD. A very solid sound you don't quite get with the lightweight modern amps.
Very flexible eq that controls bass, treble, mid sweep, compression, noise gate which if you aren't familiar, mutes the sound only when you aren't playing and 5 band eq sliders. The head is loud and also has a "deep switch" which will rattle your bones(as my bandmembers can attest). Also has a treble switch that gives an instant boost of treble when you need it.
The cab(400 watts 8 ohm) has all 4 brand new drivers all the exact replacements from Carvin. So essentially this cab is new. No issues with the construction or the functionality of either unit.
I am thinking $200 for the head plus shipping.
And $200 for the cab plus shipping.
Or give me an offer...
That would be $400 for a 500 watt head and a 410 cab–an excellent value. PM for inquiries.
Paypal encouraged. Shipped to the CONUS only.

I don't know what it is about the gray carpet but it seems indestructible. |

The cab is 8 ohms.
400 watts perfect for the head especially bridged. |

It's a real workhorse, very little trouble of any kind, and has sure pushed a lot of sound over the last 20 years. Should be considered a classic solid-state head at this point
Good luck with the sale! |
