This is a standard HBP-1, with the jensen upgrade aftermarket. Very minor rack rash on the bottom, perfect shape from the front, absolutely no functional issues. Sounds amazing, just more EQ than I need and honestly doesn't do the sound in my head as easily as the PB-1. Great preamp, very versatile - enough juice to run any power amp.
Grab my PLX 2502 and get a world class monster of a bass rig for less than any kilowatt head

Hit me with trades if you want! Always open. Interested in any situation that involves me still having a backup rig, so bear that in mind. Need to either get another preamp, cash sufficient to buy another preamp, or an all-in-one light amp. Most interested in say, a Shuttle 6.0 or 9.0, or an LM800 (would be willing to toss cash or a power amp in for the right deal).

Folks this is a great deal. I have one of these that as some know I have been on the fence about selling. I have decided not to because it is such a great preamp. The tone and EQ are to die for. Wish my had the Jensen in it though! |

The DI on the Demeter is world class as well...I use it primarily because I do so much recording right now and it makes it easy for me to get a really good repeatable sound to tape (ie HARD DISK) directly without having to go through a crappy pre to Pro Tools...Unfortunately MOST preamps out there in front of recording rigs do not sound that great....
I HIGHLY recommend this preamp! I even considered buying another myself...(and still might) GREAT PRICE on this one too!
I think I sold my last one for about $600 nearly 3 years ago and it did NOT have the Jensen in it!!

Now I've got everything but the preamp.. man it's going to be hard just staring at that rig! |
