They are like your first blanket, hard to give up 'cause nothing else is the same.
I have 3 of these and am selling 2.
$375 ea. plus shipping.

Here are the pics - I sent pics of all 3 to Demeter and they said they are the same internally.
They also said the 1st one (below) was most likely built by Mr. Demeter himself.

Passive or Active basses ?

My buddy has a Demeter. It sounds AWESOME with his passive jazz bass. I plugged my Cirrus into it a while back, and I believe it sounded good. Honestly, I forgot how it sounded.

Would you say Demeter's are "better" for passive basses ?

FWIW I use mine only as a DI. It sounds equally wonderful with a Sadowsky or an old Fender.
