I'd love to try one of these, but my gigs lately have not used PA support - just my amp. I also wonder if I should have a DI that's worth as much as my bass.

I would love this as well, but I only have A GB 12.0 to trade.

Is this pretty versatile? I'm looking for a DI mainly for bass but also something that would work with other instruments in the studio. If it has that versatility, I'd really consider this one. I know that many people like this over the Avalon U5 for bass, but would it be as well rounded for a multitude of situations?

I have no idea, sorry. Obviously you can plug any instrument into it, but I can't tell you how guitar sounds through it since I haven't tried it.

"You'll regret selling this" bump.

And yes, acoustic guitar sounds really good through this DI.

There is more coloration on this DI when compared to the U5.
Some use the word "clean" for the U5...while others prefer "sterile"
Some use the word "color" for the REDDI...while I prefer "awesome" (and sometimes "perfect")

This is one of the best DI's ever made in the history of life.
