FS: Dr Bass 2460 Cab

Sign in to disble this ad
I hate to do it, but I've decided to sell my DrBass (doctor bass) 2460 cab. This cab gets a lot of love here on TB and for good reason. It's very versatile and articulate. Great sounding cab. 2x12", 6.5" mid and horn. 3 way crossover with level controls for the mid and horn. This one is a 4 ohm cab and is rated at 700 watts.

It's in excellent condition and comes with a padded cover. The cover alone is probably worth $75.

You know you can't get one of these new from "the doctor".

$495. I'd prefer not to ship so preference will be given to a local buyer. If necessary, I'll probably ship it.

Me too...... Just acquired a minty one of these a few weeks ago and it kills from top to bottom. A great all around cab. Dr. Bass has his flaws but the guy built some of the nicest cabs around IMO.

To answer a bunch of questions in the thread:

I'm located on the Eastern side of Pennsylvania.

I'm not really looking for a trade, but wouldn't rule out the right one.

The 12" speakers are listed as "proprietary" on the DrBass website.

I'm not sure if this is the neo model or not. It does not say either way on the cab. I weighed it at 61 lbs on my digital bathroom scale. This is from memory, but I believe the DrBass website lists the neo at 52 lbs and the non-neo at 69 lbs, so it's in between.

I confirmed that this is definitely the neo version.

Maybe my bathroom scale reads a little high.
That's what my wife keeps saying, anyway
