FS: Dr. Bass DRB 1580 (8 Ohm) w/pop-out casters & custom padded cover

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a Dr. Bass DRB 1580 3-way bass speaker cabinet with pop-out casters and custom padded cover. Great as a stand-alone cab, or combined with other cabs. It's never been gigged. The pictures show that this cab is in excellent condition. It has been professionally cared for and is in perfect working order. This cab is a 9.9 out of 10, as near-mint as you can get without being mint.

Technical specs from the manufacturer (www.drbasscabs.com):
600 watts RMS
Ceramic drivers (Eminence)
1x 15"
1x 8"
1x horn
3-way X-over w/ mid and HF level control
40HZ to 20kHZ
102 dB 1W1M
8 ohms
2 x Speakon connectors
24.25"h x 20.75"w x 17.5"d
63 lbs.

This can be yours for $375 (+ shipping). Paypal works for me.

Also, I'm in Chicago, so local pick-up/delivery is definitely an option for those in the area.

Wow I wish I had some cash! If my Acme sells, I may be hitting you up if it's still around. This is one of my "to try" cabs!

Any trades? ( you knew someone was going to ask...)

I wish you had some spare cash, too : )

Yeah, I'm more interested in cash, but the one thing I would be interested in trading for would be a pre-BBE G&L guitar. I don't have a particular model in mind.

That's a good price. What make and model 15" and 8" drivers does it have?

I'm dying to try this... but alas, no love on my Acme either... slow times even for the great gear!

Yeah, the economy is just killing us.

On the advise of a fellow TBer, I took a look inside the cab via the jackplate and confirmed that this baby has Eminence speakers.

After getting to look inside, I must say, this is a well-built mutha!

Did you by chance write down or remember the model name and number of the Eminence driver?

Or the makes and models of the 8" mid-driver and the horn?

Any pics of those components?
