At this moment the cab has been sold. Long story short, I might re-open this thread later on.
I'm looking to downsize (weightwise).
Looking for local sale for now... Southern California
Eden D410T 4ohms
The cab has been in a car accident. There are some "bruses and little cuts", but the structure and the drivers are in perfect working condition (This cab is my main one).
If interested in more pics, send me your email.
$300 with cover (lecover)

PM me if you change your mind about the local thing. | I'm not excluding it, but finding a box that fit and the shipping cost would make this cabinet not worth it for most....
I would guess the shipping will be around $100?

This cab at 4ohms it's difficult to find around on the market, I know that.
Eden always had both 4 and 8 options in almost every cabs they make... almost http://eden-electronics.com/products...nued/d410t.asp

It would be very strange if not...

| | | | I'm pretty new at this so bear with me but, I only see 8ohm speaker jacks. How would I hook up one 4 ohm cab safely?
If this were 8 ohm I could use it with my other 8 ohm cab and get a 4ohm load.

Not sure what do you mean.....
The jack doesn't determine the impedance, the drivers do.
If you already have a 8 ohms cab and need an extra one for a 4ohms total application, this cabinet is not for you..... but, like me, if you have a small cab for "small" gigs and a "big" one for more domanding ones (without having to lug around two or more cabs) this is a pretty good one...
It's up to you...

Are you talking about the output speaker jacks in the back of the head?
It is confusing the way GK labelled them. You can plug in 2 x 8ohms speakers, one for each jack for a total of 4ohms load (300W), or 1 x 4ohms, either jack (also 300W)...
hope this make sense

M | Oh I think I get what your saying. So if I hook up one 4 ohm cab into the 8ohm jack, it won't matter because the amp stable to 4 ohm?
Well that certainly helps.....I will think about it. |

The two output jack in the back of the amp are wired in parallel, so yes, you are right, the amp takes a min. load of 4ohms (as labelled on the amp)....
Let me know where are you located, and we could figure out something....

I just want to add my 2 cents ....
I used to run 2 of these 8 ohm cabinets through my old GK800RB and it was marvelous! I then sold one abd bought a 4 ohm D210T which was stupid because I then had a D410T running at 8 ohms through the 300 watt side and a D210T at 4 ohms running in the 100 wat section.
I got rid of th2 4 ohm D210T and just used the D410T with never .... never ... never a problem uasing my GK800 (which I also never had a problem with).
i was even told to turn down one time doing and outside jazz gig because it pushed so hard the sound crew couldn't get me in the mix (as far tunring down .... I did nothing of the sort )
I've had the D410T, D410XLT and D410XST and too me my pick of the liiter would be the D410T to be sure.
Am I advocating this cabinet? well ... if you are looking for a 4-10 cab that you will probably never need to worry about and at a really reasonable cost ... yes ... I am | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
