Hey Guys,
I have the serious problem of buying too much stuff. So I'm cleaning out the gear room to try and put some money back in my bank account

Up for grabs is my
Eden VT-300A for
$1000 OBO shipped UPS to lower 48 (paypal e-check). This is the amp that was designed by Koch (as Sadowsky's SA200 was) and it is an awesome amp!
Google it and read up on the specifics, but basically, the amp features:
300 watts RMS @ 8 or 4 ohms,
6 band tone controls,
overdrive,
selectable damping,
compression with bypass,
can accommodate 6550 or EL34 output tubes,
(2) 1/4"; and (1) NL-4 (Speakon) output connections,
International voltage selection
19 in. X 7 in. X 11.5 in. (4U space in rack)
42 lbs.
Distortion Less Than .2%
Frequency Response 20hz to 15khz
Tone, tone, tone! It can cop a nice modern tube clean sound, as well as an overdriven sound at any volume! The trouble with SVT is that you really have to crank it to get the overdriven sound. The Eden provides that grind at even bedroom volume settings.
Some people have had issues with the footswitch, but i never have! I actually like it because if i want, i can turn on compression and set the damping to High for slap, and then quickly go back to the Low setting for the more classic tube creamyness. Really nice feature.
I just picked this up a couple weeks ago (on impulse) and i just really can't afford to keep it. It's been in my bedroom in a rack case for that time, and before that i think it was rarely used. All the tubes have plenty of life left on them, and there are no mechanical issues. No scratchy pots -- nothing! There is one flaw: on the outer metal casing attached to the amp assembly, you will find a screw broke off some time in the amp's past. Does not affect the integrity of the case at all, and is not very noticeable. Just want to be honest about the amp. Could be fixed with a punch, a drill, and a new screw in about ten minutes. I just did not get around to it.
Update, there are two areas of "scuffing" i just found today. One is to the left of the input jacks -- some of the black coating sprayed on the metal has been scratched away. And the same is seen to the right of the power switches (see pics). Anyways, you can tell Dolf Koch and team put together a workhorse amp; it feels like it would last forever!
Oh and it's only ~40 lbs (much less than an SVT)! Basically i'm both really excited about this amp and really sad i have to let it go

I really have a lot of good to say about it and i want it to have a nice home (hopefully with a fellow TBer).
Footswitch, power cord included.
Pics added!
