Eden WT400 A Traveler Plus – $350 includes shipping CONUS
I purchased the amp new in 2001. It was one of several amps I have, not my primary amp and so has not been in use full time – maybe played on 30 gigs(?) Two small cosmetic issues: a slight ding on the back left corner and a missing knob cover on the back. The amp works and sounds great and is in very good condition, always kept in a case when not in use.
Full Disclosure: This amp has a low level hum that emanates from the chassis when it’s on. It’s not so loud as to be noticeable in performance but when I first noticed it in my studio I got concerned and took it to my repair person. He diagnosed that the sound comes from the transformer, called Eden about it. Eden says that the transformers for this amp are no longer available but that the hum shouldn’t affect the amp’s performance. That seems true to me. Based on what I’ve read online, the hum is common to this line of amps – some have it, some don’t. Like I said, in performance it’s never been an issue at all for me – it’s only really obvious in a quiet, studio-like environment - but I couldn’t in good conscience sell it without making mention of it and have tried to price it accordingly.
