FS fEARful 15/6/1 and 12sub
 

ON HOLD Sousa built fEARful 15/6/1 - Up for grabs is a fEARful 15/6/1 built by me. This thing is a monster. So good. Massive massive wall of sound. Could be yours. We'll see. Built precisely to specs. Except that I put the LPad to control the tweeter on the side of the cab rather than the back for easier access during gigs.

I got the deluxe pack from Leland at Speakerhardware. The horn is an 18sound XD125 (the good stuff). 1/4 and speakon jacks. Deep dish handles. And castors. Pretty cool grille. Nice Baltic Birch. Three coats of duratex. The baffle is a black and almost non existent navy for a midnight blue effect. I spared no expense. I built it last year. It's only been used for two gigs in tandem with a 15/6...so very little use but broken in. No rattles. Good to go.

SOLD fEARful 12sub - Yet another cool little guy. I didn't build him but another TBer built these from Speaker Hardware's flat packs. Eminence neo 3012LF 12. Black Duratex, Black metal grilles. 100% correct according to specs. Speakon and 1/4" jacks. Really groovy little dude. If this doesn't sell, I'm getting a F110 built....if it does, I'm getting a F210. Pics coming tonight after practice.

That 12sub cranks out lows! I was the previous owner. You'll need a powerful top end to match it with or it'll just overpower it.

I'm planning on sitting a 12/6/1 on top of it, or maybe a Baer ML112 or other super-12-with-tweeter(and/or mid driver). What do you think? By the way, and I know we're getting way off topic here from Sousa's for sale post (free bump though!), but do you know what the crossover in the 12 sub is set at? I googled and couldn't find that info.

Now, someone buy that 15/6/1 if the local meetup doesn't pan out!

A super 12 with a mid driver on top would be a PERFECT fit with this.

I think it would kill with the Baer. I had both of these cabs but sadly not at the same time. The Baer's got that high-mid presence going on from the powerful 6" driver so if you couple that with the big low end of the 12sub you've got the whole spectrum covered. You're going to hear and feel every note. Makes me sad I didn't keep both of these!

I don't know what the crossover is set at... I got this from another TBer - he's the one who originally constructed this. I can track that down for you, if you'd like. PM me.

That 12sub and a 12/6/1 with an 18sound mid is my dream rig. The 18sound mid can even out two 12s.
