I am thinking about selling my Genz Benz GBE 600. The amp is in Excellent shape.

$550 shipped in a Kaces 2-Rackspace Gig Bag. Is this a fair price to ask? Would possibly trade for an Alembic FX-1.

The Musiciansfriend.com blow-out of these heads last year @ $499 ea. kind of side-swiped the resale value of these. That was a stoopid good deal and now that deal's gone though. I bought mine for $650 Cdn and it was previously selling for $999 Cdn. The fact that you are kicking in a gig bag and shipping sounds fair though.

All that aside, it is an extremely versatile, powerful, and good-sounding amp. Mine's a keeper and I'm thinking of getting a GBE750 as well.

Thanks for the input Hawkeye. I may be flexible on the $550 shipped price. I would possibly trade for an Alembic or a Aguilar preamp as well.
