FS Feeler - Glockenklang Soul Head

Sign in to disble this ad
Howdy. I've decided to increase my amp power and have a Glock Heart Rock on the way, so this baby will have to go. THIS THREAD IS NO LONGER A FEELER. If I didn't love the tone, clarity, girth and versatility of the Soul, I wouldn't have even considered the HR.

This is the Soul I head. (As I understand it, the main difference between Soul I and II is a change in one of the eq points (the mid - from 750hz to 550hz); otherwise they're identical.) 440 watts into 4 ohms, 250 watts into 8 ohms. This amp is loud to my ears for the wattage (louder and meatier than my more powerful Puma 500) and has incredible features and eq, all in a very manageable 24-pound, 2-rack space package. Build quality is what you'd expect from Glock, which you can read plenty about here on TB. Here's a link for the full specs: http://www.glockenklang.de/en/produc...ducts_bass.htm

It's about 3 years or so old. I bought it locally about 4 months ago from a guy who used it for blues/jazz and hadn't used it much in a while. He was the original owner. It hasn't left my house since I got it and it's seen limited use by me. I take very good care of my equipment and have never pushed it hard. It works and sounds great and cosmetically I'd give it a 9/10 or better (it's never been racked). Pics are posted below.

Asking $1100 shipped via Fedex ground insured to CONUS. I'm willing to consider shipping internationally if buyer pays actual shipping costs; pm me to discuss. Paypal or cash equivalent. Sorry, but I'm not interested in any trades.

Thanks for looking, DM

Cool. You're first in line. I'm pretty sure I'm going to sell (from what I've read, the HR and Soul are virtually identical tonally except for 1 eq point), but should know by end of next week fer sure. Don't do anything crazy before then and I'll be in touch either way. Thanks, DM

Pics are available, but only via email (sorry, they're too large to load here). Please PM your email and I'll send them as soon as I can.

In taking the pictures, I noticed 2 very minor scratches (really more like a chip of black paint that came off, and actually I forgot to mention the larger of the two, which was there when I got it). They're both located on the top of the front panel plate. One is so small it's only worth mentioning for full disclosure (it's like a hair scratch and is not on the front plate). The other is a little bigger (maybe 2mm in diameter and partially - but barely - comes onto the front plate). I have pics of both of these, though only 1 may show.

Thanks, DM

Thanks NK! Man, I guess I should have cleaned the amp before taking the pics.

Bump.

Don't let the dust in the pics deter you - this amp looks and works great.

Thanks, you would think, but the economy's tough right now. Lots of lookies, no takies yet. Someone's gonna get a great amp.
