I'm not 100% convinced as to whether or not I am going to sell this rig. If I were to sell I'd be looking for cash only as I'm not sold on the rig I'll be replacing it with.
The fact is that I do not need this... I've never really "needed" this, but it was always fun to have around. I haven't used her in a very long time, and she's just been sitting around in my room in her case looking at me like she wants to rip down some walls, and I've been letting her down all this time.
I would like to sell the amp with the rack and conditioner all as one. I'd like to get
$1200 for the entire thing: 400+, Furman PL Plus II and SKB 6 space rack. I'm going to be pretty firm on the price here as I'm not desperate to get rid of this by any means.
The 400+ was bought new from around 05 from Guitar Center. It was used pretty lightly by me in the time that I've had it. I gigged with it at a couple parties and used it in a few jam sessions, other than that it's been in a bedroom most of the time. I got it just as I started my MA program and stopped playing for the most part. The rack and power conditioner were purchased shortly after I purchased the amp.
If I get some interest I'll pull it from the rack and take some more pictures of it.
The Goliath III was purchased in about 03 or so... I believe I got it just before SWR came under Fender. The cab is in fantastic condition and it sounds great. It has been very well taken care of... you'll think it's brand new as it saw very little play time before I got the 400+. It's been sitting most of its life as well, unfortunately.
I honestly don't know how to price this thing. it is in fantastic condition, so
I'll ask $400. let me know if that sounds about right or not. I'm more open on this.
If this gets any interest I will take more pictures of anything and everything anyone wants pictures of.
Please be local, as I don't really want to deal with shipping.
If you want the entire rig you can come and pick it up for $1500. This is a pretty epic rig and it will be more than enough for just about any gig you can throw at it.
Part of the reason I'm selling is that two years ago I got rid of my car and this thing would be impossible to tow around on my bike, so if you want it you'll have to have the means to pick it up.
You are free to come by my place and check it out for yourself before you buy. I live in an apartment though so if you want to come by it'll have to be during the day on a weekend so we don't drive my neighbors crazy while you test the thing out.
I live in Orange County, off the 91 and St. College in Anaheim. If you want to come by and try it out I've got a G&L ASAT bass, Fender American P, Franken Fretless and a Dano 63 long scale you're more than welcome to use if you don't want to/can't bring your bass along.
Like I said, I'm not desperate for the cash, and I'm still not 100% sold on getting rid of this stuff. I just have no need for it and I haven't used it in such a long time that it makes me sad to see it sit there, year after year, not being used for its intended purpose. If you do end up with this thing, just promise me you will rock faces off with it, because that's what she was made for, and that's what she needs to do.
Here is an old picture. More pictures of anything and everything upon request. the basses pictured are not for sale, though for the right price you might be able to talk me out of the ASAT w/ Kahler tremolo
