OK so this is a huge for sale FEELER as I am not even close to 100% that I will sell this. Unless I can get a Mesa Titan(which one is listed on here)or an Ampeg SVT-VR I have no problem keeping this. But to test the waters I am offering up my Mesa 400+ in excellent condition(a few nicks on the rack ears and on top from being racked but nothing major. I am also including a set of power tubes(6L6's)to use when needed. I am in the process of removing the pics from my memory card and will post them asap. Anyone who has ever played one of these knows what they are about and know they are absolutely killer amps!!!!!!

I am looking to get $1050 with the extra tubes plus 1/2 the shipping(it will be a little expensive and most likely 2 boxes due to the extra tubes and the weight of the Mesa). The only trade I will take for this is a Mesa Titan or an Ampeg SVT-VR .and can add cash to the deal.

Please PM with any questions and thanks for looking!!!!!!

Hey, I play one of these... and indeed it IS an absolutely killer amp!!!!!! It was also packed amazingly well (better packaging than from any factory imho), shipped lightning fast, and once I got thru all the bubblewrap, styro, packing foam, and heavy boxes (did I mention it was packed amazingly well?) I discovered it was in really nice shape too... just as described.

Thanks again for the monster amp. If I had the $$, I'd take this one from ya too... but since I don't you'll have to settle for a "Testimonial Bump" from me instead.

How much time do the tubes (installed and the extra set) have on them? What brand/type of tubes are in it and what are the extra set and the preamp tubes? I am selling my Titan, but I may be interested in trading for your 400+. If the tubes are in decent shape (i.e. low hours and good quality) I would be willing to trade straight up, we each pay our own shipping. I will need to see some recent photos and I can send you any you may need. Let me know.

I gots one

I own one of these and it really helps to know what year on some of them I hear however I've owned one and can't bring myself to let it go unless I got another one :-D. I actually prefer it over the titan's, I have the mesa stock tubes but I met a guy who had some groovetubes and it gave it a little more punch although lost some depth. It was still sweet. Also, check out that les claypool awakening solo on youtube, he's got one

+1, someone buy this. I got mine for $10 less but without the tubes and in an old 4 space SKB case. The badge is blue instead of red and I hear that means it's pretty old. Anyways, this is a decent price, not high, not low and this thing will not depreciate! Especially since it's out of production now RIP.

If I didn't have one I'd swipe yours, if I had the need for two of them I'd SO do it. I can't justify it though, lol. It'd be too awesome for me to handle too. I use mine in an older Eden D410t and I'm trying to get an XLT but after you get your eq set (it takes a moment to learn if you've never messed with mesa), it's punchy, warm and if you have a bass that growls mmm. Like buttery biscuits on Tal Wilkenfeld's back. Whoever buys this just try to get a good cab otherwise you'll be missing out.
