FS Feeler: Mesa/Boogie Bass 400 rig

Bass playing has taken a back seat to college, and I need money which means downsizing. Hate to put this up here, but I can't justify keeping it right now with other things to pay for and not playing live much. I really don't think I can ship this bad boy, I'm sticking with local sale for now, or I can drive to meet you.
  • Mesa/Boogie Bass 400 Head - (the original with six 6550s, not the 400+ with 12 6L6s), in great shape. Everything functions properly, sounds phenomenal. I'm not sure of the age of the tubes, they sound completely fine but may need to be changed at some point. Picked it up at Music-Go-Round in Orland Park, IL. Truly an awesome classic amp, and a little harder to find than the 400+.
  • Aphex 204 Aural Exciter and Optical Big Bottom - Rackmount unit that lets you tweak your clarity and lows. Adds huge boosts. Basically the Aphex Bass Xciter in a rack unit.-Deal Pending-
  • Behringer Rack tuner
  • Juice Goose 8.0L Power Conditioner
  • Roadrunner 16-space rolling rack case, with drawers on top and bottom. Front and back covers aren't shown but do come with it obviously.

Be warned this rig is very heavy. It is also front heavy, so I suggest keeping a weight in the back so it doesn't tip forward.
I'd like to get some offers on this. I'm going to try for $1500 and see what we get.

May be interested in a MarkBass Little Mark Tube 800 + Cash from you. No basses. Really need cash.

Bump. Might end up parting it out after all. Deal pending on the Aphex.

If there's any interest in one of the pieces I may end up parting it out. Shoot me an offer.

Don't do it.

You'll regret not finding a band to play with in college, and even more not having your gear when you do - especially when you spent your rig money on beer and can't afford a new one.

I'd wait a few months and see if you still feel the same.

CM

PS don't ask me how I know.......

That's what I said too. The money always ends up for beer.
