FS: Fender Bassman PRO 300 Tube Head and 8x10 Cabinet MINT

Sign in to disble this ad
Okay folks, here's my Fender Bassman 300 Pro tube head and matching Fender Pro 8x10 cabinet. Huge sounding rig with one of the best footswitchable drive channels and control layouts ever made IMO. Bought new and has never left the den, maybe 20-30 hours of practice time on it...and never turned up past "2" on the volume. The head is USA made and has the stock Groove Tubes - and I just bought a new Fender cover for it. I just had my tech go over the head to make sure the new owner is ready to roll, he said he found one solder joint that looked a little loose, that's it. Both are minty mint, no disappointments.

Street price on the 300/810 stack is $2999, how about $1800 pick up only in Central Ohio.

EDIT: I can do the 300 head with the same Fender PRO series cab in a 6x10 configuration for $1650.

Only amp trade consideration would be a Mesa Walkabout...on basses...Ric or Fender vintage style primarily.

I just saw this rig in the background of a Guy Fieri Food Network show. I had a good chuckle. I'd love to hear this in action...

Whew. Killer Rig. Great deal. Haven't had much experience on Fender's cabs, but the Bassman 300 is an <unbelievable> head. Best of luck with your sell.

If somebody wanted the cab locally - yeah I would ship the head. That is easier said than done, haha. I must be the only guy left in Ohio playing loud rock on big cabs...
