It really pains me, but with my retirement from live playing I am getting rid of my beloved Flite cabs that I had made several years back. They have been treated well and with respect, they are great lite cabs that are amazing sounding. I was able to gig clubs to large festivals with these and never had an issue hearing them. Always used the custom covers that come with these and they protected them well. I never came close to pushing these cabs and used to run them in a biamp setup. Both cabs measure 23 x 19 x 15 and fit perfectly stacked. I've boxed them all up well and they are ready to go. Both cabs are 1/4" and Neutrik Speakon connectors. Both cabs handle 500 watts at 4 ohms. I noticed the new Flite cabs are less power handling these days and lighter and smaller too. I think I took delivery of these about 8 years ago. These are great sounding cabs that push lows incredibly well if they are provided with proper power.
I remember seeing some bad reviews from people on this site, and I believe those people never gave the cabs a proper audition, that said the sound of rig can be very subjective. My experience with these cabs have been nothing but positive. I purchased mine after running sound for a friends band and the bass player had just the 2) 10's and I was blown away by the low end and tone of his sound, I actually had to tell him several times to turn it down so I could put him through the PA.
The 15" is a Eminence Kappa with an 8" mid speaker. I replaced the LPad recently, although the mid saw almost no use as the cab was crossed over at somewhere around 135hz to 150hz from my preamp. But when I replaced the LPad I tested it and it works great if you want a standalone lite cabinet. It certainly won't provide the high end sizzle having a horn, but if you don't want that zippy of sound this might be perfect for you. Oh yeah this one packed and ready to ship and is 40 pounds 1 Oz. Shipping size is 24 x 21 x 15. Price for just this cab is $250 plus shipping.
The 2) 10" as you can see are replacement Eminence Schroeder speakers, they made a nice improvement to the sound. I also replaced the horn with a Selenium DF-150 again a very nice improvement. Nice high end sizzle with this cab and very modern sounding. Also when stacked the horn is in a perfect location to hear the highs very well without having to crank the rig. This one packed and ready to ship is 43 pounds 3 Oz. shipping size is the same at 24 x 21 x 15. Price for just this cab is $300 plus shipping.
Here's the deal since I would like to keep them as a pair, if you want both cabs I will split the shipping with you.
If you want to figure out shipping they will ship from zip 14475.
I don't profit from shipping you pay what it costs me and they will be insured for the full amount and sent via USPS.
I have nice positive feedback here on TB and well over 100 Ebay sales and 100% positive. I'd be happy to provide my Ebay nick if you want to check it for yourself, pm me for details.
Any questions feel free to PM me.
Thanks for looking,
Dirk

I also have a great QSC amplifier that would make the dream match with these. FS: QSC PLX 1602 Stereo Power Amp |

But with a 15 Eminence Kappa, it's range is supposed to be 38Hz-2.7kHz and with the 8" I'm not really sure it's specs, certainly not as high as a tweeter so I can't really guess on that. If I was forced to guess at least 4k or so.
Shipping for the 15 to you would be:
Priority $31.15
Parcel Post $21.72
Oh yeah and a price reduction $300 (15) and $350 (210) plus shipping.
Good through the weekend, after that it's off to EBay.
Thanks,

If you want the amp and both Flite cabs I am willing to go $550 and split the actual shipping costs. I'd really rather they go to a fellow TBer.

No I only ever used the Flites in a biamped setup Ashley BP41 pre, crossed over the 15" at about 125hz- 155hz, QSC PLX1602 500 watts 4 ohms each channel. At one point I was using an Alembic F1x for just the highs, it was cool but was crazy to carry two pre's everywhere. Never tempted to try anything else to be honest, it's all the rig I ever wanted and needed from small to big gigs. Oh yeah always 6 strings basses of course.
If it's a clean powerful amp then I would expect no issues.
Remember these don't have Neo's in them as I wanted more power and they were plenty light, I could carry both cabs in one trip into the gig.
Any other questions let me know,

Remember folks these are both using heavy traditional speakers, if you have some Neo speakers they would be ultra light cabinets.

40lbs for the 115....is that the cab weight or the shipping weight (cab+box+etc) ?
So how heavy is the speaker you have in it now?
Thanks
LP

Yes you understand correctly, the 15" with 8" mid is 40 lbs 1 oz. with cabinet, speakers, wiring, crossover, lpad, cardboard box, and lots of tape.
I couldn't tell you how the much the speaker by itself weighs, never had to take it out as it's original. Seems to me you might with a bit of online research find the actual weight of the speaker by itself. And I'm not really willing to unpack the cabinet and take out the speaker an weigh it, just not worth the hassle sorry to say, I hope you understand.

I hope this helps, if you do the math the cabs are very F'ing Lite.
The owner had seen some of my song titles and told me we have a similar sense of humor, I said if that's true then I
therefore know why they named the company what they did. I got Guy the original owner to admit that was why the company is named Flite.

Canada | | | wow, that's a pretty heavy speaker....a neo would be around 5-7 lbs so that would bring the cab to around 28-30 lbs, yes that is lite for a 15......and of course, the name Flite makes sense when you say it that way....lol.....but I'm in the process of buying a TC RH450 at the moment so I've run out of cash today so I'll have to look into new speakers a little later now.....thanks....

I think they sold the company a year ago or so, but they are still in Connecticut I believe.
Not getting a lot of love here since they are fairly rare to find in a store maybe.
I guess I may just end up selling them locally, you really need to hear these to believe them. I will leave them here for another week or so, after that it's local consignment or EBay I guess. As said before I'd rather see it go to a fellow TB'er though.

The one with the mid has a regular Kappa, and it weighs just over 30lbs. The one without the extra 5" I loaded with a NEO, and it tips the scales at just under 24lbs.
Not audiophile quality by any means, they are not the tightest sounding cabs, but for the price for this stack right here, and the weight/tone matrix properly applied, this is a STEAL.

I do take a little offense to the audiophile comment, and also would not agree with the tight comment.
I'm guessing you never tried them biamped, in that situation, to me they were both audiophile and tight.
Cheers,
Dirk

When you put that up against the less-than-perfect sound in most clubs, it's a non-issue for me. They are amazingly light, and STILL sound good. That is an impressive combo!
